How help works
How do we turn donations into aid?
Once we have raised the necessary funds, we will purchase basic food and hygiene products at a quantity discount.
What is included in the donation?
A minimum of 90% of the contribution goes towards the purchase of food and toiletries, with a maximum of 10% going towards storage and distribution.
What is the content of the aid?
The assistance includes non-perishable food (e.g. pasta, rice, pulses, canned meat and vegetables, oil) and hygiene items (e.g. toothbrushes, toothpaste, shower gels, shampoos, creams, feminine hygiene products).
How did we set the price per day?
The price of CZK 110 per day was based on the average wholesale price of ingredients for breakfast (CZK 25), lunch (CZK 35) and dinner (CZK 30) and the price of toiletries for one day (CZK 10). We added 10% for storage and distribution.
How do we distribute the aid?
We distribute the aid from the logistics centre to regional food banks, which distribute the aid to purchasing organizations or directly to people in need.
